We are seeking a dependable, motivated HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service while working safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and system inspections.
- Install HVAC equipment, accessories, and components as needed.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers.
- Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours emergency service when scheduled.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC service.
- EPA Certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions.
- NATE certification preferred but not required.
